Kudzu (Pueraria lobata)

History & Use
Kudzu is a fast growing evergreen vine native to parts of Asia, and an invasive species in much of the southeastern United States, where it was initially introduced to help fight soil erosion. First written about in 206 BCE, this unique botanical was popularized by macrobiotics proponents as a food thickener, and continues to be included in China's official pharmacopoeia. Although the entire plant is edible, kudzu's health supporting benefits come primarily from its flowers and roots, which contain several natural compounds including isoflavonoids and saponins.
While the roots and flowers of the common kudzu have been used historically in Chinese herbalism for anti-alcohol support, it is also used to support winter health and relax tightness and spasms of the neck and shoulders and is a key component of Neck and Shoulder Support™ by Planetary Herbals.
Validated Through Research
Though it's been used in Chinese herbalism to reduce abuse of alcohol for more than a millennium it is only within the last few decades that its actions in this respect have been scientifically supported. The study was interesting in that researchers emulated a drinker’s apartment and measured how much alcohol was taken from the refrigerator, drunk at a single sitting, how many sips were taken, how big the sips were, and how much was left at the end of the day. In all, alcohol consumption, though not desire, was reduced by almost 50%. Similar reductions in alcohol consumption were observed in numerous pre-clinical studies, supporting the historical knowledge of Chinese herbalists.

Some items may be readily available at our India warehouse- in that case, orders for those items will be fulfilled through our supply chain partner hubs located across the country in an expedited manner.
We ship all our orders through our Standard Shipping partners- Delhivery and DTDC. Depending on your delivery pincode, we choose the fastest shipping carrier for you. Delivery typically can take up to 15-20 business days from the order date. At the time of delivery, you may be asked to share a OTP (one-time password), which you will previously receive on your registered mobile number. This process is implemented to make sure that your order does not end up in the wrong hands.
The item price is inclusive of Import duty for all orders, hence Import duty is prepaid- you don’t have to pay anything extra at the time of delivery. The item price excludes 18% GST (Goods & Service Tax); hence your final order amount will be Product price+18% GST on pan India basis. The shipping and handling fee for your order is on us.
We are currently not providing any Expedited Shipping Service, because the delivery time includes International shipping time (from the USA to India) and Custom Clearance time, which honestly we have no control of.

Customers are eligible for refunds only after successful review of the discrepancy claim and approval by our team. In case of wrong product, refund amount will be credited back only once the product is returned in its original condition.
