Product Details
Creatine is an amino acid derivative found in meat and seafood. It is also produced in the human body, primarily in the liver and kidneys from the amino acids L-arginine and glycine, as well as S-adenosylmethionine. It’s transported in the blood to help support energy for cells throughout the body.
Creatine and skeletal muscle
As much as 95% of creatine is stored in the skeletal muscles, with smaller amounts in the brain and testes. About two-thirds of intramuscular creatine is turned into phosphocreatine and stored as a source of phosphate for the production of cellular energy in the form of ATP. In healthy individuals, muscle creatine is broken down and replenished at a rate of approximately 1 to 3 grams a day.
A large body of evidence shows that creatine supplementation can support exercise-induced increases in muscle mass, strength and performance in all age groups and in an array of types of athletic activity. It has been demonstrated to benefit both upper and lower body muscle strength. Creatine exerts various effects on muscle tissue, and several mechanisms have been proposed to explain the increased exercise performance seen after creatine intake:
Optimizing energy metabolism by maintaining higher levels of the body's energy currency, adenosine triphosphate or ATP5
Promoting protein metabolism in muscle cells
Inhibiting tissue damage by inhibiting oxidative stress

Numerous clinical trials have demonstrated creatine has positive effects on strength and body composition and supports muscular performance in older adults, especially when combined with resistance-training. A systematic review of research noted benefits in upper and lower body muscle strength, physical performance and body composition are often seen after 12 weeks of creatine supplementation plus resistance exercise in healthy older adults. Creatine supplementation has even been found to support non-exercising seniors.
The potential benefits of creatine are now known to extend well beyond muscle health. A growing body of evidence suggests creatine supplementation can support neurological and cognitive health. Creatine may also promote healthy mood and have neuroprotective properties. Creatine has also been reported to support healthy lipid, glucose, bone and homocysteine metabolism in older adults.
Each creatine capsule supplies 500 mg of easily absorbed creatine monohydrate.
Dosage and Use
Take two (2) capsules twice daily with water or juice, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
Caution
Those with impaired kidney function should avoid creatine supplements.

The time from when the item leaves our warehouse (in New York, USA) to when it arrives at your door (address in India). In most cases, this is 15-20 days
Some items may be readily available at our India warehouse- in that case, orders for those items will be fulfilled through our supply chain partner hubs located across the country in an expedited manner.
We ship all our orders through our Standard Shipping partners- Delhivery and DTDC. Depending on your delivery pincode, we choose the fastest shipping carrier for you. Delivery typically can take up to 15-20 business days from the order date. At the time of delivery, you may be asked to share a OTP (one-time password), which you will previously receive on your registered mobile number. This process is implemented to make sure that your order does not end up in the wrong hands.
The item price is inclusive of Import duty for all orders, hence Import duty is prepaid- you don’t have to pay anything extra at the time of delivery. The item price excludes 18% GST (Goods & Service Tax); hence your final order amount will be Product price+18% GST on pan India basis. The shipping and handling fee for your order is on us.
We are currently not providing any Expedited Shipping Service, because the delivery time includes International shipping time (from the USA to India) and Custom Clearance time, which honestly we have no control of.
We are currently not fulfilling any international orders. However, we have plans to expand our outreach in the near future. Information about the same will be made available on this website.
We take care of your concerns while you order at Mapleherbs.in - you are requested to immediately get in touch with us, if you have received wrong or damaged products. All discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 days of the delivery of the order.
Intimate with us through our contact phone, chat or support email. Our team will verify the requests made by the customer within 24 (twenty-four) business hours from the time of receipt of the complaint.
Once the claim is verified as genuine and reasonable, Mapleherbs.in will initiate the collection of product(s) to be returned. Customers may be asked to provide supporting image, in case of wrong products received. Please ensure however that the product is unused and the tags, boxes and other packaging are intact.
If you are not satisfied with what you have bought, we'll gladly take it back. However, we do not facilitate returns for such cases –
Customers are eligible for refunds only after successful review of the discrepancy claim and approval by our team. In case of wrong product, refund amount will be credited back only once the product is returned in its original condition. If you have paid by Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / Digital Wallets, then refund will go back to the original mode of payment and it may take up to 3-4 business days to reflect.
